I was tasked with researching an individual who made significant contributions to the field of curriculum. I chose Jerome Bruner. Although I was familiar with his coining of the terms “scaffolding” and “spiral curriculum,” I was unaware of how influential he was in moving the fields of education and psychology away from behaviorism and towards cognition. It was a very interesting project!
