For this project, we were tasked with teaching our classmates about a “hot topic” in the digital age. I chose eLearning standards, or the standards that developers abide by when developing LMSs or software that allow us to transmit analytics. At the same time that I was working on this project, at work I was attempting to learn more about one specific eLearning standard, xAPI, so it was incredibly beneficial to learn more about it for this project! I used Camtasia to create and edit this presentation.

For this assignment, we were asked present an “elevator talk,” or a brief summary of an article delivered like we would for an elevator pitch. I figured what better way to do an elevator talk than to simulate an elevator! I used PowToons to create my short video, which discusses research on project based learning (PBL). I expanded my knowledge about the usefulness of PBL while also learning more about PowToons.
