This course was one of the most challenging, yet most rewarding courses of my master’s degree. Throughout the semester, we learned about the various facets of the research process and how to go about writing a research proposal. I chose to write a research proposal including a learning theory that I am personally interested in – social constructivism – and propose a study that investigates the instructional methods for teaching undergraduates research skills. I gained a lot of knowledge about how to conduct research and I am anxious to use my skills in real life.
