Everyone loves a good story. According to Richard E. Mayer's (2009) multimedia principles, our brains can easily process and remember those stories when we add in the right mixture of multimedia elements such as graphics, video, and music. Digital storytelling does just that.

Digital storytelling isn't just using multimedia elements to jazz up content. It's the creation of a narrative that draws the audience

into its world, invites them to hold their breath as the action

rises, and watches when they clap their hands as it reaches

the pinnacle and descends from there.
